It was a relief to be out in the open again. I enjoyed exploring Sumaguing Cave and its magnificent stalagmites, stalactites and other limestone formations but the dark can be quite intimidating at times, especially as we went down further exploring the cave's chambers.
Sumaguing Cave is one of the must-see destinations in Sagada which is located at the northern Philippines.

I love that feeling of coming out of a dark place into the open. So uplifting. If I'm ever in the Philippines, I'm checking out the caves.
it looks like an interesting cave to visit.
I've been meaning to go there... but just didn't get the chance [again].
Mine's up -- My son, out in the open sea, swimming with the dolphins.
I've never been to Sagada yet and it's in my ist of must-visit places in the Philippines. The cave looks spectacular from the way you described it! Sana makapunta na ako soon.
