Once again, the false assurance of having a credit card made life for a friend more complicated. I told her to be careful with credit card purchases and she said, she can manage herself. For a time, she did well. But one day while window shopping in the mall, she found a supposedly good sale on the massage chair. Yes, it's cheaper if she can pay it in cash or zero interest installment. Both options were not available at that time because it can only be paid in 24 months installment. She went with it without considering the interest charges. I told her it would be expensive for her. The best way to do it is to save money for the massage chair or go for a shorter term. Nope, she didn't listen and bought the massage chair. I showed her the bank charges computations and she realized her mistake. Too late now.
