Ruby Tuesday#12 Kadayawan Time!

Yay! It is Kadayawan time this August so do not be surprised if I will be posting more pictures from my most favorite Philippine festival. Here is a picture of one of the participants of the Indak-indak sa Kadayawan. Braving the scorching heat and dancing to the beat of the drums, these kids danced with much enthusiasm and they got me really awestruck.

I wish I would have seen a festival like this when I went to Davao, but it was in march or april and probably too hot anyway. That looks very exciting!

The Philippines will always have a special place in my heart.

Hi Marites, this is a very colorful celebration with the 'indians' in full costume.
I do like to attend our American Indian pow wows, they are also very colorful.
Happy RT,

Beautiful outfits perfect for Ruby Tuesday. I've never witness Kadayawan when I live in Davao for 3 years for some reason.
