Day 1 Luzon Tour (Hundred Islands National Park, Pangasinan)

Manila Airport Arrival at 9:20am.

Walked to bus stop for Cubao.

How to get there: Bus stop is located a few meters away from the arrival area, turn left just after passing thru the exit door and walk a few meters away by the overpass. The bus stop is just beside it. The bus ride is about one hour from the airport to the Cubao Terminal for Alaminos, Pangasinan.

There are several buses going to and from Alaminos, Pangasinan but we decided to use Victory Liner. Its Cubao Terminal is located along EDSA just a few meters from Aurora Boulevard.

We took the 1130am schedule (the bus leaves hourly), bus ticket for aircon bus is P352.00 (inclusive of P5.00 insurance). Arrived in Alaminos City at 430pm.

Jump-off point for Hundred Islands National Park is located at Brgy. Lucap, Alaminos City, Pangasinan. It is 6 kilometers away from the downtown. Several tricycles ply the area (no jeepneys) and the going rate is P60.00 one-way or P12.00 per person. There are several inns, hotels and transient houses and they are usually cheaper than those in downtown.

We booked one room at Maxine By The Sea. Room Rate (with TV, toilet and bath) is P2,000 for 4 persons per night, additional bedding is P300. Maxine by the Sea is just a few meters away from Lucap’s Tourism Information Center and the souvenir shops.
