PhotoHunt#33 Advertisement

I have never seen so many different forms of advertisement except in China. These pictures were taken in Shanghai.

The blimp going around the Bund and Huangpo river while it advertises products on its big, wide screen.

Hereunder are photos of Nanjing Road, one of China's oldest commercial road, in various times of the day; colorful, eclectic advertisements and signboards everywhere:

Great photos. I love seeing ads in other countries. They are something familiar and lets me view a bit of the culture without knowing a lot of the language. Have a great weekend.

I've heard of blimps like that but haven't seen one in person. Talk about a street full of signs! Good photohunt entry.

I have seen advertisements on hot air balloons too. I wanted to go down to the beach and see if the sky planes dragging the advertisement banner behind them were up yet... but not til later in the summer. My hunt is up here.

what a cool blimp! and shanghai by night looks a bit like times square!

i love mango stores. but i have to go all the way to SOHO in NYC for it. :P

here, advertisements on buses and trains are slowly beginning to crop up. yung MRT nga puro advertisements na eh!
