The Philippine eagle is considered one of the largest and most powerful eagles in the world. I have seen up close two of them during their feeding time and they can be really impressive but also quite intimidating at the same time.
The Philippine Eagle Center is home to these endangered Philippine eagles. A private, non-stock, non-profit organization, it exists mainly for the conservation not only of the Philippine eagle but also of other raptors in the Philippines and their natural habitat. What a majestic looking bird. I would love to see it flying. It is sad that the Philippine Eagle is on the endangered list.
It's so sad when animals become endangered. The eagle is very beautiful.

The Philippine Eagle is so handsome. I hope the species doesn't ever die out. How different the Philippine Eagle looks from the American Eagle. Mostly white versus mostly black. I wonder why that is.
